Lincolnshire Parent Carer Forum

From the LPCF team:

April 2021

It has been a while since a few of you joined our professional membership
so here is a reminder to get the best use out of being part of our membership.

LPCF Website

You will have already been on the website to sign up but have you seen the many other pages of information and support for families you work with. Here are a few of the important things to check out:-

  • Events page – if you look at this regularly to see all of our events including the ones mentioned below, with details of how parents can access them.
  • Feedback – on this page you will see there is a link to the “Your say” page where you can direct parents to tell LPCF what they are experiencing (either positive or negative) with the services they receive. Feedback is then compiled and reports are published on the website and circulated to providers to help improve the provision of services.
Details of Consultations from other organisations are also added to the feedback page for parents to complete if they wish. If your organisation has a consultation to include on our website please send it to the admin address.
Parents also get the chance to nominate your organisation for an LPCF excellence award, also on this page ( they just need to say how have you have gone above and beyond for their family?)
  • Information pages - check out the comprehensive library of documents, some written by LPCF
and some by others ( including a section on Covid).
There are also listings of help lines, websites and links for information along with a page on our policies and procedures and much more.
An addition of a new parental resources library giving parents useful documents from other organisations ensures that parents are kept well informed of what services can offer.
If your organisation provides services / support for parents and wishes to be
part of the library please let us know and we will email you the details.
  • SEND page – this is to keep everyone updated on the £86 million strategy that LPCF have been involved in over the last few years. See the what’s next tab for up to date information.
  • Team Page – check out LPCF’s team of Trustees and volunteers, who support and represent the views of parents on the membership.
  • Funding – please help us to help parents on the membership by using Amazon Smile and Easy fundraising. It doesn’t cost you anything but it does help our Charity.
LPCF Lottery Club – we have a small lottery club , which helps to raise funds and anyone can join for either £26 for 6 months or £52 for a year. Monthly prizes are £50, £10 and £5. Winners can be seen on the funding page.
You’ve got to be in it to win it!!
