Welcome

Welcome to Banovallum School.  It is a privilege to be the Headteacher of a school which sits at the heart of its local community.  I look forward to building on the excellent work of my predecessor, Ms Shore.

At Banovallum we have the highest aspirations for all of our students.  We want to provide them with the all-round education which will enable them to play a decisive role in an ever changing world.

Key to this is the three way partnership between students, parents and the school.  We will endeavour to provide the most appropriate education for your child.  In return we ask that your child works as hard as possible and always tries their best.  From parents, we ask that you support the school and encourage positive learning habits from your child.

During my handover period I have been struck by the dedication and passion all staff have for ensuring that all students achieve the very best outcomes.  This and the positive relationships which exist between staff and students were key to my decision to join the Banovallum community.

I am proud of the reputation the school has within the community for producing well rounded, smart and polite individuals.  As such we have high expectations of their conduct and appearance going to and coming from school.  Each child must remember that they are an ambassador for our community.

I look forward to sharing the learning journey with your children.
